Hilltop Estates is a mandatory Homeowner Association community. It was Incorporated by Hilltop Redevelopment Associates, Ltd. in June 1992. The first Homeowners started moving in to our development mid-1993. The development is approximately 59 acres with 213 properties and includes 11.2 acres of Park and Pond.
The Hilltop Redevelopment Associates, Ltd set up the Hilltop Homeowners’ Association Inc. to promote the recreation, health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Community and for the improvement and maintenance of the Common Areas (the park and pond).
Purchasing a property in Hilltop Estates automatically makes you a member of the Association. With this membership comes the obligation to pay yearly Dues. Your membership can not be waived or otherwise escaped for non-use of the Common Area or abandonment of your lot.
The Board of Directors
The affairs of the Association are managed by a Board of Directors. These Directors are Homeowners who volunteer their time and effort for the benefit of the community. The Board of Directors powers are prescribed in the Governing Documents. The Board of Directors consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Architectural Control Committee, Parks and Grounds Committee, Budget Committee and Treasure or a Bookkeeping service (Budget Coordinator).
The Documents that Govern the Association are the Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation and the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restriction (CC&R’s).
